Leyton Orient Trust is currently recruiting for its highly successful Sport and Education courses based at the Score Sports Centre and Leyton Orient Football Club. Male and female students aged 16 - 18 will study a full time BTEC Sport academic qualification at Level One, Two or Three and combine this with team training and matches where they will represent the Leyton Orient Trust in 11 a side fixtures.
They will be offered a range of additional vocational coaching qualifications such as the FA Level One Coaching Award, Sports Leaders Level Two Award in Community Sports Leadership and extensive work experience and volunteering placements within the sports industry. This season we are also running an end of season tour to Barcelona to play college matches and attend a Barcelona FC game. This season we have three development squad teams entered in the FA Premier / Football League and Association of Colleges Leagues. Our first team this year are currently playing against other professional Premier and League clubs including Chelsea, Tottenham, Birmingham City, Fulham, Oxford, Bournemouth, Portsmouth and many more playing on training ground and academy pitches. The development teams are trained and led by Leyton Orient FC academy and Trust coaches and therefore have a strong link with the professional club.
